The Office for Teaching and Learning (OTL) participates in New Faculty Orientation (NFO) each fall. As a follow-up to the formal NFO, the OTL offers a range of individual consultation services and departmental and campus-wide workshops to help faculty get started teaching. For example, we assist new instructors with syllabus construction, course descriptions, writing learning outcomes, and acquainting them with the teaching-related features of Blackboard, the WSU learning management system.
The OTL is located in the Teaching Commons of the Purdy/Kresge Library. Call (313) 577-0001 or click here to schedule an appointment. Not on campus yet? We're also available by phone or virtual meeting spaces (e.g., Skype or Blackboard Collaborate).
