Biography
Hi, I’m Drew, and I am an Educational Development Specialist for the Office for Teaching & Learning. My role is to assist faculty with questions related to best practices regarding pedagogy and how to utilize the latest technology and media to ensure all students are successful. I’m also proud to call myself an alum, having earned my Master of Education degree in Learning Design & Technology at Wayne State in 2018.
I have a passion for student success, and I couldn’t think of a better way to impact students than by assisting faculty with developing effective strategies for the modern classroom. Additionally, I have a background in marketing and communications and have been helping faculty find opportunities to promote their research in the media. I have also developed training sessions and informational materials to assist faculty in preparing for media interviews.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, reading books, rooting for local sports teams, watching true crime shows, cooking and coaching youth sports.
