Jessica Paruch
Biography
Hello! I am Jessica Paruch, and I am an Educational Development Specialist here in the Office for Teaching and Learning. Before joining the OTL, I worked in corporate training and development as a training consultant, copywriter, instructional designer, and graphic designer.
In my current role, my goal is to support faculty in all things teaching via one-on-one consultations, group workshops and webinars, and developing useful content and resources for you to reference right when you need it. My specific areas of interest include educational technology, student engagement, active learning and building community in the classroom. My professional passion lives in the learning, teaching and training world; I’m always looking to expand my knowledge and grow in this field.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, doing crossword puzzles, taking on DIY projects, soaking in the beauty of Michigan’s outdoors, and spending time with my husband and our pup.
