Responsibilities of online instructors requesting a course review:

• Commitment to work with their assigned peer-reviewer to complete self-assessment
• Work with peer-reviewer and OTL to improve course based on the initial review
• Commit to completing all steps in the process for official QM Review
• Commit to OTL/peer reviewer receiving visibility into SETs or other survey instructional data for course pre- and post-certification
• Agree to respond to OTL survey questions about the experience

Incentives for online instructors to have courses reviewed:

• Recognition on the OTL website
• Stipend for certification
• Once an instructor has had a course certified, they receive preferential selection for next year's fellowships if they apply
• Stipends will only be granted for a particular course once.
